Your wedding is special!

As a university qualified and experienced civil marriage celebrant, I will help you make the celebration of your wedding a central and significant part of your special day.

It's exciting - but also a little overwhelming. You want your wedding to be meaningful and dignified, joyous and memorable - all at the same time!

You may know what you don't want, but you're less certain about how to express the feelings and significance you really feel. You may feel you do not know where to start.

I can help you with ideas for different kinds of wedding ceremonies and settings. And I can share with you my collection of wedding poetry, music, readings, rituals and vows.

I would love to work with you to develop a marriage ceremony that is personalised and the "right" style for you - whether that is relaxed and simple; traditional and formal; or even a bit "out there"!

Melbourne really is a great place for a wedding. Through my role as a wedding celebrant I have discovered many really beautiful venues, parks and garden settings. No wedding is too big or too small! I have performed as marriage celebrant at weddings with hundreds of guests, right down to very small weddings at my own home in Thornbury which I offer free of extra charge. I am willing to travel to regional areas and welcome overseas and interstate enquiries.

At our first consultation, I will start with the "big picture" you have in mind for your wedding and then move into details and legal paperwork. I will take you through the steps you need to cover between now and the actual day of your wedding. Then over the next few weeks, I will liaise with you until you feel the ceremony has the words, music and symbols that truly express the love and commitment you feel for each other. About a week before the wedding ceremony, we will have a rehearsal. And finally, there will be the "big day" with a ceremony that all will remember and enjoy!
